Our new electronic invoicing feature is now available for Taxamo account-holders.
We recognise the fact that electronic invoicing is a critical component for every online merchant’s business model. Now, thanks to our optional new feature, we can provide our account-holders with considerable peace of mind when it comes to sending payment receipt invoices for confirmed transactions to their own customers.
Online merchants supplying customers in the EU are (since the introduction of the new rules on January 1, 2015) required to comply with the VAT invoicing rules (overview here) of the Member State where the supply is made. For the supply of e-services this will be the customer’s Member State, known as the Member State of Consumption (MSC). Our new invoicing feature meets all of the obligations of these new EU VAT rules.
Seamless integration with existing solution
The beauty of our new invoicing feature is that it is fully integrated with our existing VAT calculation and reporting suite.
It uses the location evidence already captured to automatically create and issue EU VAT-compliant electronic invoices.
For more detailed information on our invoicing solution, try our documentation.
- Sequential invoicing
- VAT currency conversion
- Customisable templates
- 24⁄7 access to your invoices
Merchants can customise the invoice logo and add notes or links to the invoice footer.
Our invoicing solution enables merchants to comply with EU regulations including country-specific invoice numbering and currency requirements.
An email is also provided to the customer containing links to a HTML and PDF version of the invoice.
You can view a sample invoice here.
Our new invoicing solution aligns with the new EU VAT rules and, crucially, can also be used for transactions outside the EU.
